Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field from a recognized university.
Experience
- 10 to 15 years

Additional Requirements

- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the Knit Garments industry, with preference given to candidates having experience in Manager - Production role.
- Sound practical knowledge of modern manufacturing methods, Lean Manufacturing and productivity improvement techniques in knit composite factories.
- Proven skills in process mapping, time study, line balancing, capacity analysis, and efficiency calculation.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower utilization, machine utilization, wastage control, and production efficiency.
- Good understanding of Knitting, Dyeing, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and related production processes.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant production management software.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Execute production plans in coordination with Planning, Merchandising, IE, QA/QC, and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor production activities across Knitting, Dyeing, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and related sections as assigned.
- Monitor daily production, efficiency, manpower, machine utilization, wastage, rejection, and rework.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples, buyer specifications, quality requirements, and production plans.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action to minimize downtime and delays.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, fabric, accessories, and other production resources.
- Coordinate with QA/QC to maintain required quality standards and reduce defects, rejection, and rework.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely resolution of machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Implement productivity improvement, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and waste reduction initiatives where applicable.
- Ensure proper production records, reports, and daily performance data are maintained.
- Supervise and guide production officers, supervisors, line leaders, operators, and other production personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements, buyer standards, and RMG industry requirements.
- Prepare regular production reports and update senior management regarding production achievement, efficiency, quality, wastage, and operational problems.
- Take necessary initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, capacity utilization, and on-time production.
Overall Responsibility: To effectively manage and supervise production operations of the Knit Composite Factory, ensuring smooth production, optimum resource utilization, required quality, high productivity, minimum wastage, and timely completion of production targets.
